On behalf of Outside Looking In’s staff and Board of Directors, we invite you to join us at our VIP Celebration before Canada’s Largest Indigenous Performance with special keynote speaker Jody Wilson-Raybould, Former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Bestselling Author. The event will open with remarks from The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean and will feature George Stroumboulopoulos as Master of Ceremonies.
This celebration is to honour all those who play a significant role in advancing our mission of empowering Indigenous youth through arts and experiential learning, including you!
Join us to network with like-minded individuals who share in our collective commitment to empowering Indigenous youth and celebrate our achievements this year, including OLI’s first-ever university graduate!
Cocktails and Hors D’oeuvres will be served.
We hope to see you there to celebrate this important work together!
Supporting Indigenous youth every step of the way
OLI gives participants the opportunity to unpack their emotional, mental and physical expression into a structured outlet like dance. Our programs allow youth to express their hopes, dreams and aspirations on the dance floor.
OLI promotes positive relationships during postsecondary learning, provides pathways to meaningful work, and builds the self-esteem needed to navigate away from negative behaviours such as self-harm and substance abuse.
Participants must attend school regularly, do their school work, have exemplary behaviour and be committed to working hard while in the program.
